VALLON has been developing dual-sensor detectors for explosive ordnance disposal since 2005, making it one of the first manufacturers worldwide to do so. These systems combine precise metal detector technology (MD) with high-resolution ground-penetrating radar (GPR) in robust, field-tested devices. The innovative technology enables the reliable detection of landmines, improvised explosive devices (IEDs) and unexploded ordnance (UXO) – even if there is minimal or no metal content. Specialized GPR detectors complement the portfolio for the targeted location of cables and wires.
The systems have proven themselves worldwide in military and humanitarian mine clearance under the most demanding operational conditions.
